The History of TFO

What is "The Forsaken Ones" ? The Forsaken Ones, or TFO, is an epic story of monumental proportions. It has, as of this site's opening, two years of work and seventy devoted authors behind the original plot line. TFO began as an RP forum with a good friend of mine by the name of Jess almost two years ago. We letour imaginations run away with the plot and when the site opened it ended up being a huge success. TFO spawned a following of like RP sites. It was the first to employ what we called "Character Analysis" where, much like when a person prepares to play a part in a play, or musical, they have to literally become that character. Our writers were devoted artists who breathed life into fictional characters. I know I can vouch for all 142 authors that were present for our closing that TFO enabled many to become the writers they are today and has a plot that no other story will ever rival.

Because my fellow Admin, Jess, and I were forced by circumstances in the real world to close down the site before the story was finished, I made a promise to the readers and authors of the site to finish the story on my own and post it on HPFF for the world to enjoy. I have finally done this and I can say with pride that it is definetly my greatest work. Because TFO began as an RP Forum there are approximately 60 active characters in the story. I have had to delete some for my own sanity and for readers' sanity. The story is told in first person narrative and bounces back and forth between mainly six characters. Which means in order to make this believable I had to become a numerous amount of people and write each of them differently to give their original personality and written form credit. For instance, each character has a distinct personality, be it a girl who is very shallow and cares for nothing but the latest fashions from Aberzombie and Witch or a boy who desires one woman in the entire world and is driven to the ends of time to show her he is the one or even a woman who will stop at absolutely nothing to get the power she believes is hers. As you can imagine, with the sheer magnitue of this project in mind I began to seek out someone to help share the burden and my co-author; the award winning Best New Author MajiKat, graciously agreed to join in and has been an amazing asset. She is the greatest reason this story is now able to be released.

From the award winning authors Celtickisses and MajiKat comes TFO; the ultimate story of passion, lies, betrayal, trust, romance, lust, desire, power, murder, suicide, dark dreams, illicit liasons, and the realization of true power and hate. Human nature is an undeniable force. You cannot read TFO without being changed in some way.

Beware, fair reader, for once you began you cannot stop. As one of the leading characters says; "Come with me. Walk in this nightmare."
